After securing their third win of this young football season against Athens, Fairfield plans ahead for the upcoming game against the Palestine Wildcats.
“Palestine is big and fast,” said Head Coach John Bachtel. “They had a big win over Rusk Friday night and they are as close to a rival as we have now.”
The game begins at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at Palestine High School stadium. This is the Eagles fourth game of the season and only their second away game.
Fairfield beat the Athens Hornets last Friday in Athens, with a final score of 53-28.
